A Beach at Sunset
A beach at sunset is a perfect dating spot for couples, and also could be a nice place to visit alone. If you come to a beach at sunset with your partner, it is certain you can get closer to her/him for two reasons. First: the scenery is beautiful; the sky, sea and everything else turns red and beautiful by the evening sun. Twenty minutes around sunset is called “magic hour” because at that time we can see the world most beautifully in a day. Second: the mood is good; you can hear the sound that the surfs make in a pleasant twilight silence, and hear the din and bustle of the city so far away. Besides, the scent from the sea sets the mood even more romantic, and a bit cold sea breeze of evening gets two hands closer. For these reasons, a beach at sunset is one of the most favorite places for couples. Next, I’d like to tell you what good will it be to visit a beach at sunset alone. Beaches let you spend time in the good solitude for also two reasons. First: the silence; there is no irritating noise at a beach and they are so far away. Therefore, you can think, read, and even meditate in a pleasant silence. Second: there are a lot of diversions at a beach; ripples come and go, a ship is running on the sea, and a hermit crab is running on sand. When you are in hurt or want to escape from thinking anything, these will help you relax and refresh. As showed above, a beach at sunset can give you great pleasure whether you are with someone else or not. When you have trouble deciding on the next dating spot, or have something on your mind, just drive to a beach. Please try to remember to bring your jacket or a blanket with you.

The Pet I Want
The pet I want
If I could have a pet, I want a Doberman pinscher because it is I think the most useful, most beautiful and wisest dog in all kind of dogs. First, the Doberman is well-known for its capability: it’s working as a watchdog, a police dog, army dog, a hunting dog, and a narcotic-finding dog all over the world. In fact, the Doberman is a breed which is selective bred to take over many of the excellent qualities of its parents.
Of course, a lot of training will be needed, I’d like have a capable Doberman which follows my command skillfully. Second, I like the figure of Doberman: the shiny black and brown hair, muscular body in shape, long, slender legs, and the face which looks very smart. I also like its ears that stand straight to the sky (but actually this shape of ear is created by cutting down its ears in its childhood). All of these characteristics give us the impression of strength, sharpness and dignity. I think the Doberman has the most beautiful body in all quadruped.
Finally, the Doberman is in fact a very much gentle, calm kind of dog despite the fearful image we have. Since they work for police and army, (or even robber,) only fierce side are emphasized by TV and cinema screen, the Doberman is mis-impressed as very brutal, savage, and dangerous, but the truth is very calm, gentle, loyal, and lovable. When I have a Doberman puppy, I’d like to train it to be a suave, tender house dog. I can’t have it right now, but I will get it someday.

What’s a Goya?
The goya is a cucurbitaceous vegetable (actually, however, fruit) with deep-green color, 20-30cm long, 5-6cm in diameter, and a lot of lumps and bumps. Because of the grotesque appearance, people who see it for the first time do not believe that it is food. And in accordance with its outward, the taste is very much bitter, which causes it to be known as a bitter melon. You may not want to eat such a hundred-harm-and-no-good plant, but the goya has astonishingly plenty of nutrition within which blows all the disadvantages away. It contains abundant vitamin C, beta-carotene, calcium, iron, vitamins B1, B2 and B3, fiber and many other nutrients. So, why don’t you have a try to goya champuru? It will be not only unexpectedly delicious, but makes you very healthy.

A Crowded Bus on a Hot Day
A crowded bus on a hot day is a complete nightmare: sweltering, sweaty, dizzy, and even vomiting. The stream of air is altogether stopped, and the sun is shining disgustfully. You cannot count on the air conditioner solving the problem, because it doesn’t play its role in such a situation. Beads of sweat run down through your body, and your T-shirt soon will look like you’ve tumbled down in a pool. It smells so sweaty in the bus, because all of the passengers are sweating as much as you are. Everybody in the bus does not seem quite happy. Even some blessed people who could get their seat are suffering from the heat and the smell, poor standing passengers, in addition, pant from both physical and psychological pressure. A crowded bus on a hot day is often covered with uncanny silence because nobody wants to enjoy talking with anyone. All you hear in this sauna-like conveyance will be somebody breathing with difficulty or complaining of the level of the discomfort index, which makes you more and more irritated. A crowded bus will make you want to purchase your own car, and even make an action against global warming.

The Co-op of University of the Ryukyus (the Central Store)
There are two co-ops in University of the Ryukyus: Chu-ou Ten(the central sore) and Kitaguchi Ten(the northern branch), and I’d especially like to focus on Chu-ou Ten. It is a white, two-floor building located on nearly center of the site of Ryudai, selling a variety of food, beverages, confectionery, books, texts, magazines, dictionaries and stationery. Now, let’s go inside; going up the slope to open the door, then you may encounter a pillar on your right, and the shop stands over there. Chu-ou Ten consists of three sections; the food and drink corner, stationery corner, and book corner. The food and drink corner occupies the left space, the nearest to the entrance. Food is lined on the far-left four shelves, confectionery is taking the next three shelves, and beverages are cooled behind them. Stationery corner is located on the center of the shop and sells a variety of pens, erasers, notes, and files. Notes and printing paper is displayed on the left shelf and pens and erasers line on the opposite, and files and binders stand on the back shelf. The rest of the space is assigned to the book corner, which is selling books, novels, magazines and dictionaries. Chu-ou Ten is loved by the students and teachers of Ryudai.

My Favorite Place
My Favorite Place
My favorite place, it is the room of my grandfather. I have spent, and now spend many hours there watching sumo, reading magazines, and listen to his story about the WWII. Although the room doesn’t have much space, there lie many things: a bed, a chair, a table, a bureau, and a TV. There is hardly any place to run about and perhaps that’s why I became an indoor person. When it rains, I used to open the window and enjoy catching drops of water that fall down from the eaves. That made him very upset because the water comes in the room, but I really liked it. Grandfather’s room was also my refuge from my parents’ scolding, when I got scolded, I always ran into the grandfather’s room and sulked in bed. He always made me a rice-ball to wake me up and stop crying. For twenty years, my favorite place has always been the same, and I wish it will be.

How to Have a Save Vacation
It is certain that everybody wants to spend a safe, enjoyable vacation, so here I suggest some ways to make your vacation safe. First of all, what is most important is to keep your attention not to meet danger. Numbers of accident and injury come from carelessness, so you shouldn’t forget paying attention to your surroundings. Second, you’d better bring an aid kit with you everywhere you go. This will help not only yourself, but your friends, girl/boyfriend, and people around you when they get injured. It is also important to know how to deal with a sudden injury. Third, you should make a elaborated plan before you go on a trip or a picnic. When my friends and I went to Yanbaru, we hadn’t had any timetable. And the result was a disaster; we had to spend a night in a car. So I strongly recommend you to make a firm schedule when you go out. Here was my advice, please keep it in mind and have a good vacation!
